Port

This project was based on the topic ‘designer as entrepreneur’ and modeled to be on kickstarter.com. The goal was to come up with a product that was an innovative solution for a problem. The problem I looked to solve was one that designers, and especially design students, can specifically relate to. 

Port is the company I came up with and their product line caters to those who may not have one single location they like to work. Port's goal is to make things a little easier for individuals to stay organized when they are working.

The Port case is designed to be easily stored and carried as you move and work in different locations. It allows for all the essential items you would want at your desk to be conveniently transported wherever you may need to go.

The case can hold various chargers, cords, pens, tools, rulers, etc. In the pictures shown, there is a detachable zipper pouch that can be removed and replaced with other options that might cater more specifically to the needs of each individual. 

Port also offers additional products and tools that fit within the case and fit with the style of the brand and product. These items include: a cutting matte, mouse pad, angle, rulers (12" and 6"), small carrying pouch, eraser, and tape.
